About Me

I might be one of the most patient men on the planet, which comes in handy as both a photographer and a Juventus supporter! Growing up in the peaceful village of Palaia in Tuscany, where life moves at its own pace, has shaped my laid-back outlook. It’s also inspired me to capture and share the beauty of this region with others. Working with Sweet Life Experiences, I get to do exactly that—bring Tuscany alive through my lens.

But my dreams extend beyond Tuscany. One day, I hope to travel across Scotland, especially the Highlands, photographing its breathtaking landscapes and writing a book about my adventures. My love for Scotland’s history, people, and culture is so strong that I’ve even been known to wander around Tuscany in my kilt. Now that’s a photo worth seeing!

My experience

Though my professional journey began in logistics, my true passion has always been photography. Over the years, I’ve studied composition, lighting, and the art of creating images that tell a story. Every shot is crafted to capture authentic, in-the-moment beauty.

In the 1990s, I launched the first Amateur Football Gazette in Pisa, where I photographed and wrote about the rising stars of the sport. It was my first step into combining photography with storytelling, a combination that still drives my work today.

Now, as a full-time photographer, I specialize in ‘In the Moment’ photography, capturing spontaneous, unplanned moments that reveal the true essence of a place or person. From the winding streets of Tuscany to its sun-drenched countryside, I’m always on the lookout for those fleeting, magical instances that encapsulate the spirit of the region.

Working alongside Paul and the entire Sweet Life team is both exciting and inspiring. Their energy, vision, and drive to create something so meaningful pushes me to do my best work. Coming from a more relaxed pace of life, being part of such a dynamic project is an honor.

As the Joyful Photographer, my role is to capture the beauty of Tuscany through my lens, whether it’s photographing behind-the-scenes moments as the team creates content or documenting the transformation of our guests during their retreats. Paul’s dedication to helping people discover and pursue their passions resonates deeply with me, as that’s exactly what I’ve been able to do through my work on this project.
